Variable costs realted to your project’s production needs (ex. seeds, compost, fertilizer, greenhouse accessories, harvest bins, rental fees for machinery, etc.) are your responsibility. However, group purchases can be arranged to reduce shipping fees or to receive bulk purchase prices with suppliers.
Participation fees for members of the Plateforme Agricole de L’Ange Gardien:
Years 1 to 3:
- Membership fee: $650/year (includes access to the cold room, potable water for irrigation and washing, washing station and storage rooms, and storage shed)
- Field rental fee: $225/acre
- Heated greenhouse rental fee: $1.00 per square foot
- High tunnel rental fee: $0.50 per square foot
Years 4 and 5:
- Membership fee: $1000/year
- Field rental fee: $250/acre
- Heated greenhouse rental fee: $1.35 per square foot
- High tunnel rental fee : $0.60 per square foot
Other variable fees to be shared by members (based on usage):
- Greenhouse heating costs
- Organic certification with Ecocert Canada
- Electricity fees
